The CorVitals Wearable Biosensors is prescribed by healthcare professionals for the continuous collection of patient ECG and physiological data while at home or in a healthcare setting. The data can be transmitted wirelessly from the biosensor to a remote secure server for analysis, reporting, display and storage.
Yes. Keep showers short with your back to the flow of water while showering. Do not use creams, shampoo, soap, or like-products near the biosensor. After your shower, gently pat dry with a towel and minimize activity until the biosensor is fully dry. Please do not swim with or submerge the biosensor.
If the biosensor accidentally gets wet, gently pat dry with a towel and minimize activity until the biosensor is fully dry.
If the biosensor loosens or starts to peel away, firmly press down the edges with your fingers for 2-3 minutes.
If instructed by your healthcare provider to report events using the biosensor, firmly press the biosensor ON button once each time you feel a symptom such as dizziness, palpitations or breathlessness. You may also use symptom tab on the CV App to report a symptom.
If your healthcare provider has asked you to throw away the biosensor, dispose of the biosensor in accordance with local laws as routine/non-hazardous electronic waste.
If the green light on the biosensor starts flashing rapidly, you are probably too far from the cell phone. No worries, it will slow down once you are back in range and all the data will be stored on the patch and transmitted at that time. If you see a red flashing light, the patch needs to be changed or has a defect. Simply change the patch and discard the current patch.
